中国国际海报双年展(CIPB)于2003年创办于中国杭州西子湖畔,是中国最高规格的海报设计竞赛,也是国际平面设计领域备受关注的海报类竞赛和展览之一。迄今为止,共收到来自全球四十多个国家和地区累积超过数万件的海报作品。
海报是一种超越语言的媒介,它映射出当下时代的观念、审美和思潮的现状,记录了不同地域的设计师对社会、文化、环境等现象的思考,包罗万象的作品,也记录着一个时代的发展,创造着一个时期的视觉历史。时间瞬变,我们期待更多元、更开放和更具革新精神的海报设计作品。
第十一届中国国际海报双年展将于2023年11月至12月在中国杭州举办,由中国美术学院与浙江省美术家协会主办,中国美术学院视觉传播学院与浙江省美术家协会平面设计艺术委员会共同承办,旨在呈现全球海报设计的多元发展与创新探索,以此推动国际平面设计领域间的文化交流与互鉴。

03参赛规则

a.第十一届中国国际海报双年展参赛作品须是2021年1月1日以后创作的作品。

b.作品表现形式不限,实物海报由胶版印刷、丝网印刷或数码印刷完成,彩色喷墨作品谢绝递交。作品上传接受动态海报形式。

c.作品尺寸:不小于36.4cmX51.5cm;不大于120cmX180cm。

d.每人参赛作品数量不限,系列作品按单件计(一个系列作品视为一个单件作品记数)。

e.参赛作品提交后,需邮寄作品实物至组委会官方收件地址(邮寄地址见06)。

f.为了避免参赛作品在邮寄途中遭损坏,建议采取安全包装方法。组委会对在邮寄途中遭到损坏或遗失的作品概不负责。

g.所有参赛作品都必须以“无商业价值印刷品”的形式寄达。组委会将不接受任何在邮寄税证或邮寄发票中写入商业标价的参赛作品。

04提交规则

提交方式
参赛者需先登陆中国国际海报双年展官方网站作品上传平台进行线上报名,按照要求注册帐号,填写个人信息,具体流程如下:
a.登录赛事官方网站首页(www.cipb.org),点击上传作品,注册账号后进入报名上传系统;
b.按照提示填写作品相关信息并上传作品电子文件;
c.作品提交后,即可在个人中心下载作品背签并填写信息;
d.如需再次提交本人其他作品可重复以上操作即可;
*参赛者可使用同一个账号提交多份作品,无需重复注册。

提交要求

a.作品上传仅限JPG、GIF和MP4格式。图片像素300dpi,图像色彩模式为RGB,JPG和GIF文件大小不超过10M,MP4文件大小不超过30M,上传成功的图片和视频均会在下方显示,作品图片必须上传,最多上传10张。

a-1.作品上传时第一张图片为评审封面图片,请择优设置。可拖动作品进行图片展示排序。

a-2.动态海报上传要求:仅限MP4格式。文件大小不超过30M,最多3个视频。

b.参赛作品背签必须以电脑填写,贴于作品背面右下角(背签可复印)。作品一旦入选展览,参赛个人信息将录用在《第十一届中国国际海报双年作品集》中。

c.入选实物邮寄每件参赛的作品一式二份,无须装裱。

*所有参赛送交的作品恕不退还

05免责声明

参赛作品必须为参赛者本人或团队的原创作品,如一旦发现参赛作品为抄袭他人创意、概念的行为,或作品发生版权、各类知识产权等纠纷,由作者自行承担后果,一概与中国国际海报双年展组委会无关,且组委会将取消其参赛资格与获奖资格。
组委会拥有所有参赛作品的展览、出版、宣传、收藏、用于电视、网络、平面或广播媒体展示的权利。
对本次活动规则产生任何疑议,组委会保留最终解释权。与本次活动有关的任何未尽事宜,均由组委会进一步规定规则并进行解释。

2023 China International Poster Biennial

Incepted by the West Lake in Hangzhou, China in 2003, the China International Poster Biennial (CIPB) represents China’s highest-level poster design competition, and ranks among the most sought-after poster competitions and exhibitions in the global graphic design community. So far, the event has welcomed tens of thousands works of poster design from over 40 countries and regions.

As a medium that goes beyond language, a poster may mirror contemporary concepts, aesthetic standards, and ideological trends, and record what the designer thinks about society, culture and the environment. A variety of posters bear witness to the development of and constitute the visual history of the era when they occur. Time flies, We are ready to welcome more diverse, more open, more revolutionary poster designs.

The 11th CIPB will take place in Hangzhou, China in November 2023. This session of CIPB, hosted by China Academy of Art (CAA) and the Zhejiang Artists Association (ZAA) and organized by the Visual Communication School of CAA and the Graph Design Committee of ZAA, seeks to exhibit what poster designers have achieved in diversification and innovation-oriented exploration, and to drive cultural communication and exchanges within the global graphic design community. The greatest influencers from the global graphic design community will be invited to form a jury. Winners of all its awards will be selected in strict accordance with international best practices, at the jury’s sole, final discretion.

01Rules for Work Collection

Poster designs submitted by designers, design groups, design organizations and students worldwide

03Rules for Participation

a. Any work submitted to the 2023 China International Poster Biennial shall be a work created after the year 2021.

b. There are no requirements for the form of a submitted work. A real poster shall be produced through offset printing, silk-screen printing, or digital printing. Please do not submit a poster produced through color inkjet printing. A dynamic poster may be uploaded.

c. Size of poster: ≥36.4cm×51.5cm, ≤120cm×180cm.

d. There’s no qualitative limitation on the works a participant may submit. Yet, a series of works will be considered on e work.

e. After the work is uploaded, the real work shall be mailed to the Organizing Committee of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial.

f. It is suggested that a submitted real work be packed safely as a way to prevent it from being damaged during mailing. In the event that a submitted real work is damaged or lost during mailing, the Organizing Committee of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial shall in no way be held liable.

g. Each and every submitted real work shall be served as a “Print without Commercial Value”. The Organizing Committee of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial will refuse to accept any submitted work with a price specified in the tax certificate or invoice of mailing.

*Any submitted work will not be returned.

 

04Rules for Submission

Ways of submission:

A participant shall log in the official upload platform of the event (to complete the online registration. For this, he/she shall create an account, and enter his/her personal information, in line with the instructions below.

a. Visit the home page of the official website of the event(www.cipb.org), click “上传作品” (Upload a Work), create an account, and then log in the upload system;

b. Enter required information of the work by following the notes, and upload the work;

c. After the work is uploaded, download and fill in the endorsement in “个人中心” (Personal Center);

d. To submit additional works, repeat the steps above.

*A participant may use the same account to submit multiple works. That is to say, it is unnecessary for a participant to create multiple accounts.

Requirements for submission:

a.Only .jpg, .gif and .mp4 files will be accepted. It is suggested that an uploaded picture meet the following specification requirements: size, A4; resolution, 300dpi; color mode, RGB; file size, ≤10M (.jpg or .gif) or ≤30M (.mp4). Any successfully uploaded picture or video will be shown. Uploading pictures is compulsory. You may upload 10 pictures at a maximum.

a-1.Requirements for pictures:

Only .jpg and .gif pictures will be accepted. An uploaded picture file shall not exceed 10M. You need to set an adequate picture as the front cover. You may sequence your pictures by dragging them.

a-2.Requirements for videos:

Only .mp4 videos will be accepted. An uploaded video file shall not exceed 30M. Uploading videos is optional. You may upload 3 videos at a maximum.

b. The endorsement of a submitted work must be filled in on the computer. The endorsement, which may be photocopied, shall be adhered to the lower right corner on the back of the poster. Once a submitted work is selected into the exhibition, the profile of the designer will be included in Work Collection of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial.

c. A real work shall be mailed in duplicate, but needs not to be framed.

 

05Disclaimer

Any submitted work must be an original work created by the participating individual or team. Once any plagiarism of creative content or concept is found in a submitted work, or the work is involved in any copyright or IPR dispute, the author shall be independently held liable and become ineligible for the event, and the Organizing Committee of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial shall in no way be held liable.

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial shall be entitled to exhibit, publish, publicize, collect, or display via television, internet, print media or broadcasting media any submitted work.

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial reserves the right of final interpretation on any doubt about rules of the event.

For any matters that relate to the event but are not covered herein, the Organizing Committee of the 2023 China International Poster Biennial will separately make rules or interpretations.
